Welcome

Welcome to Gymnastics/RSG of SV Halle!

We are delighted to welcome you to our department's website! Our department brings together around 70 gymnasts who train with passion and dedication.

Our programme ranges from kids' sports (age 4+) and recreational groups to performance-oriented competitive gymnastics. New to our programme is a training group for young women who wish to continue gymnastics in later years.

Our gymnasts regularly compete in regional and national competitions in DTB gymnastics and dance – with great success! In 2023 we won 1st place at the Germany Cup Gymnastics (K group). Another highlight is our traditional Salzpokal, which we host every year in Halle.

Besides competitive sport, we also offer show performances – a perfect way to experience Rhythmic Gymnastics at its most beautiful!

What we offer

Disciplines

Three areas – from first playful steps to competition. Tap to expand.

Kids' sports age 4+

In our kids' sports group, the youngest can move and play from age 4. We foster coordination, flexibility and body awareness: basic gymnastics elements are learned playfully, apparatus such as hoop and ball are explored, and a feeling for music and rhythm is developed.

Fun in movement, creative exploration and shared experience come first – entirely without pressure to perform. A trial session is available on request.

Recreational no competition pressure

The recreational group is for everyone who enjoys movement, music and expression. Here you can do rhythmic gymnastics without competitive pressure – regardless of experience level.

In training we teach gymnastic elements, dance choreographies and handling of apparatus (ball, rope, hoop). Show performances are also possible. A trial session is available on request.

Competitive performance-oriented

Our competitive groups are for all gymnasts who want to train gymnastics/dance at a performance-oriented level. With focused training, technical refinement and creative choreographies we prepare for regional and national DTB competitions in gymnastics and dance.

Junior competition group (ages 6–10)

Here we lay the foundation for a successful gymnastics career: first competition routines, improved flexibility and coordination, handling of all apparatus. Alongside athletic development, team spirit and fun are in focus – and even our youngest already compete successfully at regional level.

Performance group (ages 10+)

Intensive training for demanding choreographies and competition routines. With rising demands on technique, expression and precision, the gymnasts compete in individual and group events. Regular regional and national competitions as well as our annual Salzpokal are a fixed part of the programme.

Anyone keen on sporting challenge, team spirit and the special magic of rhythmic gymnastics is in exactly the right place with us! A trial session is available on request.
